If You Forgot Your Google Account Password
Step 1: Go to the Google Account Recovery Page

Visit: https://accounts.google.com/signin/recovery
Step 2: Enter Your Email Address

Type the email address you’re trying to recover.

Click Next.
Step 3: Click “Forgot Password?”

Google will prompt you to enter the last password you remember.

If you don’t remember any, click “Try another way.”
Step 4: Verification Options
Google will try to verify your identity using one or more of the following:

Backup email: A code will be sent to your recovery email.

Phone number: A code will be sent via SMS or call.

Security questions: If you set them up previously.

Device confirmation: Google may ask you to confirm a prompt on a device you’ve used before.
⚠️ Tip: Use a device and location you’ve used to sign in before for better chances of success.
Step 5: Create a New Password

Once verified, you’ll be prompted to create a new password.

Choose a strong, unique password and confirm it.
If You Forgot Your Google Account Username (Email Address)
Step 1: Go to the Username Recovery Page

Visit: https://accounts.google.com/signin/usernamerecovery
Step 2: Enter Recovery Information

Enter the recovery email address or phone number linked to your account.

Enter your full name as it appears on the account.
Step 3: Verification

Google will send a verification code to the recovery email or phone number.

Enter the code to proceed.
Step 4: View Your Username

Once verified, Google will show you the email address(es) associated with that recovery info.

If you don’t have access to any recovery options, click “Try another way” repeatedly to see all available methods.

If recovery fails, you can fill out Google’s account recovery form with as much detail as possible.
